Intermodal Local CDL A Driver AM Rail Ramp Routes

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal operation based near Mechanicville, NY. Drivers haul intermodal containers within a 250-mile radius, with daily home time and no NYC deliveries. This is a no-touch freight position with strong per stop pay, detention pay, and additional pay for HazMat and refrigerated loads. Pay and earnings $0.46 - $0.52 per mile Average weekly pay: $1,500 - $2,000 $40 per drop-and-hook stop $65 per live load or unload stop $45 per driver load or unload stop $40 per HazMat load $40 per refrigerated load $23 - $28 per hour detention pay after 1 hour Average annualized earnings: about $78,000 Slip seat equipment Schedule and home time AM shift Home daily Operates within a 250 mile radius of Mechanicville, NY No NYC deliveries Trucks must remain at the ramp during time off Slip seat equipment; drivers share trucks with other drivers What you’ll do Haul intermodal containers to and from the rail ramp Complete drop and hook, live load/unload, and driver load/unload work as assigned Handle HazMat and refrigerated loads when needed Complete pre trip inspections and follow all DOT and company safety procedures Communicate with dispatch and report any issues promptly Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation What we need Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 - 6 months of trucking experience Comfortable with an AM schedule and daily ramp reporting Willing to operate slip seat equipment Able to leave the truck at the ramp during time off
