Interior Designer
Yourway Transport, Inc.Yourway is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Interior Designer to support both our Yourway Transport and Yourway Hospitality divisions. This is a unique cross-functional position that will involve designing and developing spaces across our buildings, transportation, warehouse, hospitality, and hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design while also understanding the practical, operational, and financial considerations involved in bringing a design concept from initial vision through completion. The Interior Designer will work closely with leadership, operations, vendors, contractors, purchasing teams, and property management to create spaces that are functional, visually appealing, brand-appropriate, and cost-effective. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, project ownership, and working across multiple types of properties and environments. Key Responsibilities Interior Design & Space Planning Develop interior design concepts for corporate offices, transportation facilities, warehouses, hospitality spaces, and hotel properties. Create space plans, furniture layouts, finish selections, color palettes, and design concepts. Develop design presentations, mood boards, floor plans, and visual concepts for leadership review. Select furniture, fixtures, lighting, flooring, wall coverings, artwork, accessories, and other interior elements. Balance aesthetics, functionality, durability, safety, and budget requirements. Help establish consistent design standards across Yourway properties. Hospitality & Hotel Design Support interior design projects for hotels, including guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, meeting spaces, common areas, and back-of-house areas. Assist with hotel renovations, refreshes, repositioning projects, and property improvements. Research current hospitality design trends and develop concepts that are attractive, practical, and competitive within the market. Select furniture, casegoods, lighting, artwork, fabrics, finishes, and accessories appropriate for hospitality environments. Work with hotel management and ownership to understand operational needs and translate them into design solutions. Assist with property inspections and identify opportunities for aesthetic and functional improvements. Yourway Transport & Business Facilities Design and improve office environments, conference rooms, employee areas, reception areas, warehouses, packaging areas, and operational spaces. Develop layouts that maximize available space while supporting employee productivity and operational efficiency. Assist with facility renovations, relocations, expansions, and new construction projects. Select durable materials and furnishings appropriate for transportation, logistics, and warehouse environments. Ensure designs are practical for high-traffic and operational environments. Procurement & Vendor Coordination Research and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, artwork, equipment, and décor. Obtain and compare vendor quotes and pricing. Coordinate with suppliers, furniture manufacturers, contractors, architects, installers, and other vendors. Assist with purchase orders, budgets, project schedules, and delivery coordination. Review products and materials for quality, pricing, durability, and design compatibility. Track project expenses and help ensure projects remain within approved budgets. Coordinate installation and help resolve issues that arise during project execution. Project Management Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through completion. Develop project timelines and track deadlines. Coordinate site visits, measurements, installations, deliveries, and vendor activities. Communicate project status, design recommendations, budgets, and potential issues to leadership. Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for corrections or improvements.
