Storeroom Attendant – Integrated Supply Location: Vallen, 2625 Emerald Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49001 Number of Openings: 1 Employment Type: Contract – Temp-to-Hire Initial Assignment Duration: 3 Months Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM EST Break: 30-minute unpaid break Hours: 40 hours per week Minimum Experience: 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required Storeroom Attendant – Integrated Supply to support daily storeroom and material replenishment operations at its customer facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The primary responsibility of this position is to collect empty material bins from production lines, transport them to the storeroom (crib), replenish them with required materials such as rivets, screws, bolts, and other hardware, and return the filled bins to their designated locations on the production floor. The role also involves receiving, stocking, issuing, organizing, and tracking inventory using handheld scanners and established inventory procedures. This is a physically active position requiring frequent walking throughout the facility, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work safely in a warehouse environment that is not temperature-controlled. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training . Experience or aptitude in warehouse activities, including: Loading and unloading goods. Picking and packing materials. Moving and organizing inventory. Receiving and stocking products. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn inventory systems. Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to walk extensively throughout the facility during the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally without assistance . Ability to follow established material-handling and inventory procedures. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills Warehouse & Inventory Operations Previous warehouse or storeroom experience. Material handling and inventory stocking. Production line material replenishment. Bin replenishment and parts distribution. Receiving, picking, packing, and put-away. Cycle counting and inventory record maintenance. Computer & Inventory Systems Handheld barcode scanner experience. Basic computer proficiency. Inventory data entry and transaction processing. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience with inventory systems such as Vista, Control, SX.e, or Prophet 21. Material Knowledge Familiarity with industrial hardware and production materials. Knowledge of rivets, screws, bolts, fasteners, and similar components. Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments. Work Schedule & Environment Work Schedule Monday through Friday. 6:30 AM–3:00 PM Eastern Time. 30-minute unpaid break. 40 hours per week. Work Location Vallen, 2625 Emerald Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Fully onsite at the customer facility. Physical Requirements Frequent walking throughout the facility to collect and deliver empty and replenished bins. Ability to stand and move around the production and storeroom areas. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds without assistance. Regular handling and transportation of materials and bins. Work Environment Facility is not temperature-controlled. Heating is available during winter. No air conditioning during summer. Candidate must be comfortable working in changing seasonal temperatures. Dress Code & Safety Long pants required.
