Industry Advisor — Trucking & Transportation (Equity)

Canopi is seeking an industry advisor with deep trucking and transportation experience, an active network of fleet decision-makers, and the judgment to help shape our product direction. Canopi focuses on driver eligibility, continuous MVR monitoring, credential intelligence, and safety and compliance risk. We are building around the real operational problems carriers face. This is an equity advisor role. Exact equity will be discussed during the interview process. Time commitment and scope will be agreed mutually. The role is remote and focused on the U.S. trucking market. Responsibilities • Make warm introductions to potential customers, particularly U.S. mid-market and enterprise trucking fleets. • Connect Canopi with safety, compliance, fleet operations, and executive decision-makers for customer discovery and commercial conversations. • Work directly with the founder and CEO to assess customer needs and guide product priorities, workflows, and market positioning. • Help identify urgent problems that customers will pay to solve and barriers to adoption. • Provide candid feedback on competitors and opportunities to create lasting customer value. Qualifications • Current or former senior carrier operator, safety or compliance leader, fleet executive, trucking association leader, or other established transportation industry leader. • Strong, active relationships with people who influence or approve fleet software purchases. • A track record of useful introductions and helping companies earn customer trust. • Practical understanding of driver eligibility, MVR monitoring, credentials, and fleet safety and compliance workflows. • Sound product judgment and availability to participate consistently. • Transparency about existing advisory roles, vendor relationships, and potential conflicts of interest.
