Independent Courier Driver

Job Summary As an Independent Courier Driver, you’ll move packages and materials safely from pickup to delivery, using a personal vehicle, van, or box truck as the assignment requires. You’ll plan and follow routes, handle loads carefully, and provide professional customer service at each stop. Follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and traffic rules. Duties Pick up, load, transport, and unload deliveries; use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when needed and authorized. Drive assigned routes, use mobile devices for delivery updates, and confirm completed stops. Handle packages using safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling procedures. Deliver 100-250 Packages per day Your impact: Careful handling and dependable delivery help customers receive their items safely and on schedule. Skills Required: Valid driving credentials appropriate to the vehicle used, safe driving habits, and the ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting. Preferred: Delivery driver or courier experience, including route driving, personal vehicle delivery, van driving, commercial driving, or commercial truck driving. Preferred: Box truck or manual transmission experience, warehouse experience, warehouse operations, moving, and load-and-unload work. Preferred: Customer service skills, familiarity with mobile devices, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment operation. Ability to adhere to traffic regulations and applicable DOT requirements. Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per day Work Location: On the road
