Implementation Manager - Clinical Laboratory Courier Operations
HC LogikWhat we do HC Logik moves patient specimens for hospitals and clinical laboratories. Every pickup we make is a test result someone is waiting on, and often a diagnosis that can't wait. We run thousands of stops a day across the country, and we are growing our work with leading clinical reference laboratories in new markets. The role When we open a new market, you are the person who makes it work on day one and every day after. You will learn our laboratory courier operation in detail, then travel to new markets to stand it up: training drivers, riding routes, working with local vendors and airline cargo partners, and making sure every procedure is followed exactly as written. Between launches you will be based in our Tampa office, supporting active markets and getting ready for the next one. This is not a desk job and it is not a driving job. It is the job of making sure a process designed in an office is carried out correctly in the field. What you will do Learn our specimen handling, packaging, temperature control, and air shipment procedures until you can teach them without notes. Train new drivers in person, on their actual routes, and confirm they can do the work correctly before they do it alone. Ride routes, audit stops, and correct problems on the spot. Build working relationships with drivers, independent contractors, vendors, and airline cargo staff in each market. Help prepare route plans, driver guides, and launch checklists, and keep them accurate as markets change. Report clearly and honestly on what is working, what isn't, and what you did about it. Be available when a launch or an issue requires it, including some nights and weekends. What we're looking for A bachelor's degree, or graduating soon. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time, often on short notice. A process mindset. You follow procedures to the letter, and you notice when one is missing or wrong. The ability to earn trust from drivers in the first conversation. You are comfortable in a parking lot at 8 pm training drivers, and in a meeting with a client. Honesty when things go wrong. In this work, a mistake hidden is far worse than a mistake reported. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. Experience in medical courier, healthcare, logistics, or field operations is a plus, but not required. We will teach you the operation. We cannot teach work ethic. Why this role You will learn a specialized part of healthcare from the ground up, with direct exposure to senior leadership and to the clients we serve. People who do this job well take on more markets, more responsibility, and a leadership path in our organization. Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Describe a time you followed a procedure exactly even though a shortcut would have been easier. What happened? Tell us about a mistake you made at work or school and what you did after you realized it. Describe a time you had to get a group of people to do something your way when you had no formal authority over them. Why does accuracy matter more when transporting patient specimens than when delivering packages? This role requires 50–70% travel, often on short notice, including some nights and weekends. Can you commit to that? Work Location: In person
