HVAC Service Dispatcher Edelman | Fairbury, IL Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Keep Our HVAC Service Team Moving Edelman is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily service and maintenance calls, manage technician schedules, and keep our field operations running efficiently. This is a hybrid position ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving scheduling challenges, and keeping technicians and customers informed throughout the day. You'll take ownership of the HVAC dispatch board, ensuring technicians are assigned appropriately, routes are efficient, and appointments stay on track across our service areas. Solutions Driven. Why Join Edelman? $25.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience Hybrid work arrangement Monday-Friday schedule, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM No recurring after-hours dispatch responsibilities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Established company with a supportive team environment Opportunity to play an important role in daily HVAC operations What You'll Do Manage the daily HVAC dispatch board and technician assignments Coordinate service and maintenance appointments across multiple locations Plan efficient routes while balancing technician availability and customer needs Schedule and confirm customer appointments Communicate schedule changes and delays to customers and field technicians Follow up with customers on outstanding service estimates Review and audit completed service jobs for accuracy Process warranty part claims, returns, purchase orders, and vendor invoices Follow up on outstanding final payments and service paperwork Work closely with the HVAC Manager to keep operations organized and on schedule What We're Looking For Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or another home service industry Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Experience coordinating field technicians and managing changing schedules Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to make quick decisions and adjust schedules as needed Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping Comfortable using dispatching, scheduling, and work order software Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team Dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of daily operations Join Our Team At Edelman, we value people who take initiative, communicate clearly, and help our teams deliver dependable service to customers.
