Hvac Dispatcher/ Assistant

Duties Coordinate and dispatch HVAC technicians using transportation management systems, GPS, GIS, and other routing tools to ensure prompt service delivery Manage incoming service requests via multi-line phone systems, email, and digital platforms with professional phone etiquette and clear communication Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, freight movements, shipping & receiving logs, and fleet management data for operational efficiency Assist with supply chain coordination by tracking parts inventory and ensuring timely delivery of materials needed for HVAC jobs Support transportation planning efforts by analyzing routes using GIS and GPS data to optimize technician travel times and reduce costs Enter data efficiently into various systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Oracle TMS, and 3PL platforms while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Qualifications Proven experience with dispatching in HVAC or related fields; familiarity with logistics or transportation management is highly desirable Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GIS, GPS data, and transportation planning tools for effective decision-making Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently Knowledge of freight handling, shipping & receiving procedures, fleet management practices. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Application Question(s): Are you able to pass a background check?
