Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to established standards. Use industrial cleaning equipment responsibly for floor care tasks like buffing, polishing, and deep cleaning carpets to uphold high standards of hygiene. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe and well-maintained facility for guests and staff. Follow all health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and chemical handling to protect yourself and others. Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners, and other industrial tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areas. Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required. Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices in hotel housekeeping is desirable.
