Turner Industries Group is looking for a Hotshot Supervisor to join our nested Maintenance team at a site in Deer Park, TX. This person will oversee scheduling and communication for hotshot logistics personnel. This requires excellent communication and oversight skills - organizing bills of lading, delivery schedules, identifying priority deliveries and scheduling accordingly. Will use email, phone, and radio communications and interface constantly with our client. Must have a clean driving record. NO per diem or relocation available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in/near the area. Minimum four (4) years of experience TWIC required Excellent computer/ communication skills Pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test D.O.T. drug screen/card OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87) Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.) Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.) 40hrs, must be on call and able to work overtime Bachelor's degree preferred General Job Description: Oversee and organize delivery loads, priorities, and scheduling, ensuring that orders arrive on time at correct locations. Physical Involvement: Employee may be required to do the following: climbing into and out of truck(s); reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands, fingers and feet to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction. Mental Involvement: Employee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work and selecting proper tools; judging distances and slopes accurately; following oral and/or written directions; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
