ConfidentialJob Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. As a HOTSHOT Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating F250 or F350 with 40ft gooseneck trailer to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Your role will involve delivering a variety of cargo, such as hazardous materials, and specialty freight, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and cargo handling will be vital to our success. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbeds, and tankers, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations. Transport specialty cargo with precision and care, maintaining vehicle safety and cargo integrity throughout the journey. Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo manifests in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across long distances or OTR routes. Demonstrated ability to handle freight logistics cargo handling efficiently while complying with safety Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving. Prior experience loading and unloading freight manually or using appropriate equipment; familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures is preferred. Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker loads, or other specialized cargo is highly desirable. Strong understanding of GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient delivery execution.
