Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hotshot Driver to operate a 40ft hotshot truck and trailer for nationwide freight delivery. This is a Non-CDL position , but a CDL license is a plus. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of load securement, safe driving practices, and timely communication with dispatch. NEED SPECIFICALLY HOTSHOT/FLATBED EXPERIENCED DRIVERS Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 40ft hotshot truck and trailer across regional and OTR routes Load, unload, and properly secure freight using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other load-securement tools Ensure all freight is secured according to DOT regulations and company standards Maintain consistent communication with dispatcher regarding pickups, drop-offs, delays, and load status Accurately complete all required paperwork, BOLs, and delivery documentation Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer Deliver freight on time while following all state and federal safety regulations Represent the company with professional conduct at customer locations Maintain truck and trailer cleanliness and report any mechanical issues immediately Requirements Minimum 6 months of Hotshot experience required Must be comfortable operating a 40ft gooseneck/flatbed trailer Strong knowledge of proper load securement (chains, straps, binders, tarps, etc.) Clean and valid driver’s license (Non-CDL OK; CDL is a plus) Good driving record — no major violations, DUIs, or reckless driving Ability to lift 50–75 lbs when securing loads Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic Must be comfortable traveling OTR for multiple days Smartphone with GPS capability Must be 21+ years old (preferred for insurance) Preferred (Not Required) CDL (Class A or Class B) Experience running ELDs or logbooks Experience with freight such as machinery, building materials, or automotive loads Mechanical awareness of trucks/trailers Benefits Competitive pay structure Performance bonuses for on-time deliveries and safety Weekly settlements Supportive dispatch team Growing company with opportunities for advancement Steady year-round freight Job Type: Full-time Pay: $54,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Experience: hotshot/flatbed: 2 years (Required) Load securement: 2 years (Required) Work Location: On the road
