Material Handler Tillamook, Oregon Starting at $19.00 per hour Full-Time | Monday-Friday 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Looking for steady work with a great team? Tillamook Country Smoker is hiring Material Handlers to help keep our production facility running smoothly. In this role, you'll move materials throughout the facility, support production teams, and help ensure ingredients, packaging, and finished products get where they need to be. What You'll Do Receive and unload incoming ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment Deliver ingredients and packaging materials to production lines Remove finished products and transport them to warehouse storage areas Load and unload trucks for incoming and outgoing shipments Help maintain accurate inventory and organized storage areas Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation Keep warehouse, storage, and production support areas clean and organized Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety guidelines Work as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently What We're Looking For Must be 18 or older Able to lift up to 50 pounds Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout your shift Reliable and ready to work Able to work in refrigerated and freezer environments Forklift experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy What to Expect This is an active, hands-on role in a food manufacturing environment where you'll work around raw meat products, warehouse equipment, and production machinery. You are expected to be able to: Stand and move throughout most of the shift Frequently use hands and arms to handle products, equipment, and tools Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Work closely with team members and follow verbal instructions Occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, or perform other physical tasks as needed Work in hot, cold, wet, dry, or slippery conditions Work in refrigerated and freezer areas Operate material handling equipment safely Handle raw meat products and work around typical food processing sights, smells, and equipment Follow safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards at all times Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Employee discount Join a company that's growing and offers opportunities to build a long-term career.
