FALCOR SERVICES LLC IS HIRING: HOTSHOT OWNER-OPERATORS (CDL-A) Lease onto our authority. Keep up to 85% of the load. Falcor Services is a family-run hotshot and open-deck carrier based in South Louisiana. We have the authority, the insurance, and an established broker network. You bring the truck, the trailer, and the work ethic. We're building a small team of reliable drivers and we treat them like partners, not numbers. WHAT YOU GET - You keep 85% of gross when you book your own loads under our authority - You keep 80% when we book the loads for you through our broker network - That is well above the typical 25-30% lease-on cut - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for full-time drivers (1-year commitment, paid out over time) - Referral bonus up to $1,000 for drivers you bring on - Fast settlements, clear paperwork, and a written lease that spells out every deduction up front. No surprises. - Falcor's primary liability and cargo insurance covers you while you're under dispatch - Help with a down payment on equipment may be available for the right driver (case by case) Real people answering the phone. You'll talk to the owners, not a call center. REALISTIC EARNINGS Full-time drivers running about 125,000 miles a year at today's rates typically net around $57,000 to $77,000 a year after fuel, insurance, and maintenance, before taxes. You earn more with more miles, better rates, and less deadhead. We'll walk you through the numbers line by line before you sign. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Class A CDL - Own a 1-ton dually (3500/4500 or similar) and a 40' gooseneck flatbed (a truck without a trailer can still be considered) - At least 21 years old - Current DOT medical card - Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and Clearinghouse check - Clean driving record. No DUI or vehicular offenses. - Able to read and speak English to DOT roadside standards - Know how to secure open-deck freight (chains, straps, tarps a plus) - Comfortable with an ELD and with sending BOL/POD photos from your phone - Hotshot or flatbed experience strongly preferred YOU'LL ALSO NEED: Physical damage and non-trucking (bobtail) liability on your own unit - Current annual DOT inspection on the truck and trailer WHERE WE'RE HIRING: Baton Rouge / South Louisiana, Houston, Austin, and Midland. Drivers based elsewhere along the Gulf and in Texas are welcome to apply. FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME Full-time drivers qualify for the sign-on bonus. Part-time drivers are welcome to reach out too. DRIVER QUALIFICATION & WHAT FALCOR MUST HAVE ON FILE BEFORE YOUR FIRST LOAD: Falcor keeps a Driver Qualification (DQ) file on each driver (391.51). You provide or sign: 1. Employment application with 10 years of employment history (CDL drivers), every license held in the last 3 years, and accidents/violations (391.21). 2. Copy of your CDL (front and back). 3. Medical examiner's certificate from a National Registry examiner. CDL holders: since June 2025 the examiner sends results to your state electronically. Keep the paper card in the cab anyway until your state driving record shows it. 4. Authorization for MVR pulls. Falcor pulls one from every state you've held a license in for the last 3 years, within 30 days of hire (391.23). 5. Release for previous-employer checks: 3 years of safety performance history plus DOT drug & alcohol history (391.23, 40.25). 6. Road test certificate, or a CDL accepted in place of one (391.31-391.33). 7. Clearinghouse consent. Register at clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov and approve Falcor's full query before you drive (382.701). 8. Negative pre-employment drug test result (382.301).
