POSITION OVERVIEW: NORPAC is looking to hire a qualified Hostler to join the Warehouse team. This is a safety-sensitive position. Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Individuals will be responsible for on-site hostling operations at NORPAC (North Pacific Paper Company). Daily duties include operating mobile equipment to move paper rolls between the main shipping warehouse and storage sheds, assisting with preloading trailers for outbound shipments, and positioning preloaded trailers at receiving warehouses. Responsibilities also include conducting trailer inspections and completing all associated documentation. Work is completed in varying temperatures. (inside/outside) Physical Job Requirements: Ability to carry/push 50lbs Ability to stand/walk Ability to twist/turn Must be versed in pre-use inspections of mobile equipment Ability to back-up/maneuver truck/trailer combo Other duties as assigned and identified Operating Mobile Equipment: Yard Goat Daily Wear: Industrial Appropriate Clothing. PPE required: Hi-Vis vest Closed-toed shoes Safety glasses Hearing protection Shift: Rotating 12-hour shift, nights. Compensation: Salary range for this position is $24.71 - $33.49 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
