POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. DRIVING & DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of delivery trucks (DOT requirement) Log hours of service, such as driving, on duty and off duty (DOT requirement) Pick orders from the warehouse and load product into the truck Deliver dairy and grocery products to homeowners within assigned regions Navigate routes using a GPS unit Practice safe driving by following DOT regulations and company standards Use handheld scanners to track inventory and delivery of products Provide exceptional customer service to our clients NON-DRIVING/DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES Use a power washer and shop vac to clean the interior and exterior of the truck Move, organize and clean areas of the truck barn Pick orders in the warehouse Crate glass bottles and stack them Load glass bottles into the industrial washing machine Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Read, write and understand the English language Ability to do simple math Valid driver’s license (Class C or Chauffeur’s license) Proven work experience as a Delivery Driver Clean driving record with no traffic violations Ability to drive safely in a variety of weather and traffic conditions Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Lift crates of milk weighing up to 50 lbs, including items overhead Frequently bend, carry and walk with product Traverse multiple landscapes (uneven ground, wet or frozen terrain, etc.) Work in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.) Work in refrigerated conditions (33–38°F) WHAT WE OFFER Daily rate of $250.00 ($25–$30 hourly equivalent) $500.00 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) Paid vacations and paid holidays Employee discount Furnished uniforms HOW TO APPLY If you’re ready to be positive, work hard and have a blast doing it, apply today and help us keep the good times (and scoops) rolling!
