HEAVY TRUCK MECHANIC
CDS DisposalWe are a busy waste management company looking for an experienced Heavy Truck / Roll-Off Truck Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of roll-off trucks and other heavy equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair roll-off trucks and heavy-duty vehicles Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, and engine-related issues Repair and maintain roll-off hoists, hydraulic systems, PTOs, and truck bodies Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles are road-ready Complete repairs efficiently and maintain accurate service records Respond to breakdowns and assist with emergency repairs when required Keep the shop and work area clean and organized Qualifications Previous experience working on heavy-duty trucks required Experience with roll-off trucks and hydraulic systems is an asset Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's licence Heavy-duty mechanic certification or equivalent experience preferred We Offer Full-time, steady employment Competitive pay based on experience Consistent hours Friendly, hands-on work environment Opportunity for overtime Year-round work SEND YOUR RESUME TO OUR EMAIL: info@cdsdisposal.com Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Vision care Work Location: In person
