Vet Treat is a growing pet wellness brand focused on providing convenient nutritional and wellness products designed to support the everyday health and well-being of dogs. Through our online platform, customers can explore and order products supporting areas such as daily wellness, mobility, allergy and skin care, and overall pet health. As our e-commerce operations continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Order Processing Assistant to support customer order management, fulfillment coordination, inventory communication, and day-to-day operational activities. Position Overview The Order Processing Assistant plays an important role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and move efficiently from initial purchase through fulfillment and shipment. This position reviews incoming orders, verifies customer and product information, monitors order status, coordinates with fulfillment and shipping partners, maintains accurate records, and assists with resolving routine order-related issues. The role also helps maintain communication between customer service, inventory, fulfillment, and operations so that orders are prepared correctly and customers receive timely updates when necessary. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with online systems, and able to manage multiple orders while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Previous experience in e-commerce, order processing, fulfillment, customer service, or inventory support is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Review and process incoming customer orders from the company's e-commerce platform Verify customer information, shipping details, product selections, quantities, and other order information Identify incomplete, duplicate, or potentially incorrect orders before fulfillment Update and maintain accurate order information within internal systems Monitor orders from initial processing through fulfillment and shipment Coordinate with fulfillment and shipping personnel to help ensure orders are prepared accurately and on schedule Confirm product availability when processing customer orders Communicate inventory shortages, unavailable products, or other fulfillment concerns to the appropriate team members Help prioritize orders according to established processing and shipping procedures Verify that the correct products and quantities are assigned to each order Assist with preparing order information, packing documentation, shipping details, and related records Monitor shipment status and tracking information when required Assist with customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment updates, and delivery information Help resolve routine order discrepancies, address corrections, missing information, and fulfillment issues Coordinate replacement, return, or reshipment requests according to established procedures Maintain organized digital records for completed, pending, canceled, and unresolved orders Assist with reviewing transaction and payment status when necessary for order processing Communicate with customer service regarding orders requiring additional customer information Work with inventory personnel to identify products that may require replenishment Assist with basic inventory tracking and product availability updates Help maintain accurate product information, item numbers, quantities, and order records Support promotional, subscription, bundled, or multi-product orders when applicable Assist with periods of increased order volume and seasonal demand Identify recurring order-processing issues and communicate them to management Follow established procedures for handling customer, order, and transaction information Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when working with customer information Support general e-commerce, fulfillment, customer service, and administrative activities as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accur…
