Heavy Haul Truck Driver (CDL-A)

Legacy Cranes & Equipment is hiring an experienced heavy haul driver to move our cranes and heavy equipment. This is oversize/overweight work: big machines, permitted loads and careful route planning. Most runs are local and regional, so you're home most nights, with an occasional night or two out. What you'll do: Haul cranes, excavators, dozers and other heavy equipment on lowboy and RGN trailers Run oversize/overweight loads, including permits, routes, escorts and travel restrictions Load, unload and secure equipment to DOT standards Work with dispatch, our crane crews and customers to get equipment to the job on time Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep logs current What we're looking for: CDL Class A with a clean MVR 2+ years of heavy haul experience on lowboy/RGN Experience running oversize/overweight permitted loads Strong load securement skills Current DOT medical card; able to pass drug and background checks Crane hauling experience is a big plus Benefits: Health, dental and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match (after 1 year of employment) Ongoing training and certifications Uniforms provided Legacy Cranes & Equipment is an equal opportunity employer.
