Heavy Equipment Transport Driver

Job Description: Century Equipment is looking for a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Transport Driver to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT! What You’ll Do: - Safely transport construction equipment and machinery (bulldozers, excavators, etc.) using flatbed trailers and specialized vehicles. - Load, unload, and properly secure heavy loads using chains, straps, and tarps. - Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. - Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards. - Keep accurate delivery and driving logs (hours of service). - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members. What We’re Looking For: - Minimum 2 years of proven experience transporting heavy equipment and operating flatbed trucks. - Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. - Strong knowledge of heavy equipment handling and securement regulations. - Experience with oversized load permits and route planning is a huge plus! - Physically capable of handling the demands of loading, unloading, and securing loads. - Strong independent work ethic and a customer-first attitude.
