Heavy Equipment Hauler CDL Driver
M&M Contracting, LTDOverview We are looking for an experienced and dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team as an End Dump and Heavy Equipment Hauler . The ideal candidate has experience operating end dump trailers and hauling heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Operate Class 8 trucks with end dump and heavy equipment trailers. Haul construction equipment, materials, dirt, rock, aggregate, and other jobsite materials. Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety requirements. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate inspection records. Safely operate equipment around construction sites, including navigating tight or uneven areas. Properly secure loads and verify all equipment is ready for transport. Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and required paperwork. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, mechanics, and jobsite personnel. Keep assigned truck and trailer clean and report maintenance or safety issues promptly. Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and jobsite safety procedures. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with a clean and safe driving record. Previous experience with end dump trailers and heavy equipment hauling required. Experience hauling construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and similar machinery. Knowledge of proper load securement and DOT regulations. Ability to safely operate and maneuver trucks and trailers in construction environments. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to pass required DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude. Preferred Experience Lowboy or detachable gooseneck experience. End dump experience. Heavy equipment hauling. Construction or excavation experience. Familiarity with local construction sites and jobsite procedures.
