Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Fox Enterprise LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Fort Bragg, NC. We are looking for a skilled and dependable mechanic with strong experience working on diesel-powered heavy equipment, including equipment with electrical-over-hydraulic control systems. Job Responsibilities Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment, including driling equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical-over-hydraulic control systems and related components. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues. Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections. Repair and maintain excavators, trenchers, skid steers, loaders, drilling equipment, and other heavy construction equipment. Repair or replace hydraulic hoses, pumps, cylinders, valves, wiring, sensors, and other components. Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform field repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Operate and move company vehicles and heavy equipment as needed. Follow all company, jobsite, and Fort Bragg safety requirements. Required Qualifications Class A CDL required. Must be able to operate a manual-transmission vehicle. Previous diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience required. Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical-over-hydraulic control systems required. Experience with construction, excavation, trenching, drilling, or similar heavy equipment preferred. Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to meet all requirements for access to Fort Bragg. Fort Bragg Base Access Requirements (Mandatory) Candidates must meet the following requirements to work on Fort Bragg: Possession of a REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or identification card. Possession of a valid Social Security card. No criminal or background restrictions that would prohibit access to a U.S. military installation.
