Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This is a mobile position, requiring the mechanic to travel to various work sites to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on trucks and heavy duty equipment. A fully equipped service vehicle and tools will be provided to support you in completing your work efficiently and safely. *Pay based on experience and credentials* Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain semi-trucks and heavy-duty equipment. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Respond to service calls and complete repairs on-site in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and services completed. Operate service truck and manage tools, equipment, and inventory. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must have Heavy Mechanical Trades Level 3 completed or in process to complete Proven experience with semi trucks and heavy equipment repair Strong problem solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Welding and fabrication skills are an asset. Physically fit and capable of handling demanding repair work in field conditions.
