About the Role We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Heavy-Duty Mobile Truck & Trailer Technician to handle mobile roadside service calls and in-shop repairs out of our Kalispell location. You will work on semi trucks (Class 7 & 8), commercial trailers, and box trucks, getting drivers safely back on the road without having to wait on a tow. What You'll Do Respond to mobile and roadside service calls across Kalispell and the surrounding Flathead Valley, as well as perform repairs at our shop (125 Industrial Ct). Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and commercial trailers: air brakes, air lines, chambers, wheel seals, bearings, hubs, suspension, and electrical/lighting systems. Repair and service commercial trailer bodies and box truck roll-up doors (cables, rollers, panels, springs, latches, and tracks). Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and cold-weather starting/fuel/electrical diagnostics. Use Jobber on your phone or tablet to view dispatches, log repair notes, snap before/after photos, and track parts used on each job. Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, fleet managers, and our shop team. Keep your service truck stocked, organized, and job-ready. What We're Looking For 2+ years of hands-on experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks, semi trailers, or commercial fleet equipment (mobile/roadside experience is a huge plus). Solid troubleshooting skills in 12V/24V electrical, air brake systems, wheel-end components, and mechanical/body repairs (including roll-up doors). Own a core set of hand tools (specialty shop tools and mobile equipment provided). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus, but not required). Comfortable working independently outdoors in Montana weather and participating in paid roadside call-outs. Comfortable using a smartphone app (Jobber) to manage work orders without paper clutter. Pay & Perks Competitive Hourly Pay: $28-$42/hr based on your skill level and experience. Roadside / After-Hours Bonus: Extra call-out pay for emergency roadside dispatches. Independent Work Environment: No dealership politics or micromanagement, just honest repair work with an owner who knows the trade.
