Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Company Overview Ivy Farms Inc is a growing family owned and operated trucking company located in Rush City, MN and we are looking to hire an additional heavy duty diesel mechanic for our growing fleet. We operated a mix of flatbed and refrigerated trailers through out the United States. Summary The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of verifiable experience in diagnosing and repairing the following items, diesel engines, transmissions, emissions systems, air brake systems, lighting/electrical, suspension, tires, and more. This position will also require performing annual inspections per federal guidelines on all of our commercial vehicles. Diagnose mechanical issues in diesel engines and equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and refrigerated units. Utilize automotive diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately. Conduct tire service and replacements as needed. Use hand tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Fabricate parts as necessary to support repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of tractor-trailers, particularly Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and Paccar MX engines. Proficiency in diagnostics and repair techniques. Ability to work with hand tools and industrial equipment safely. Familiarity with tire service procedures is a plus. Basic fabrication skills are beneficial but not required. Class A CDL with air brakes and no restrictions, no automatic restrictions. **Can help obtain Class A CDL for the right candidate** Valid medical card. MN commercial vehicle annual inspectors certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months. Pay $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year depending on experience.
