Hardware Specialist Assistant

Job Description Location: Pascoag, RI Benefits: BCBS of RI Healthmate, Network Blue New England, or Blue Solutions HSA plans, dental and vision insurance, 401K Job Description: Lockheed Architectural Solutions, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, and entrepreneurial Assistant Hardware Specialist. Candidate will work out of our office in Pascoag, RI, and help manage all aspects of the door hardware department. This position reports directly to the Door Hardware Specialist. Key Responsibilities: Developing Fabrication Drawings Troubleshooting Hardware issues Marking Up Hardware Cutsheets Checking Hardware Schedules and Architectural Drawings Assisting with the submittal, procurement, design, and implementation of all projects. Manage project budgets and schedules to adhere to estimated expenses and timelines. Monitor all processes, materials, safety, and job quality. Communicate all information regarding projects to the Project Management team to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Qualifications: Ability to assume numerous responsibilities and meet deadlines is required. Must have strong organization, management, communication (both written and verbal), and time management skills. Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and disciplined to work independently. Demonstrates strong computer skills Ability to do fractional math Willingness to visit job sites in MA, CT, and RI Willingness to travel for training Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and other industry software is a plus.
