Responsibilities Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately. Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and provide product demos when needed to enhance their shopping experience. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards. Handle cash drawer operations with integrity, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate cash records. Upsell products by suggesting complementary items and informing customers about ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or through other communication channels. Support inventory management by conducting stock replenishments and assisting with inventory counts as directed. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous. Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members or managing customer service standards. Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively. Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interactions and active listening, are essential for success in this role. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, balancing cash drawers, and handling retail math calculations confidently.
