Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of inventory, materials, and shipments. Responsibilities Safely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials efficiently. Assist with inventory control by conducting stock counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate record-keeping using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Prepare shipments by packaging products securely and verifying order accuracy for shipping & receiving processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and adhering to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Support order fulfillment activities through order picking, loading/unloading trucks, and managing inventory flow with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting when necessary. Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to safety regulations, and reporting hazards or incidents promptly. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals while demonstrating mechanical knowledge and technical proficiency in material handling equipment operation. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, AS400 or similar platforms is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers safely and effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards related to warehouse operations and material handling. Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and order processing tasks. Experience in shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking and packing processes is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude or previous experience with material handling equipment operation will be considered a plus. Join us in a role that combines energy, precision, and teamwork!
