Customers choose from hundreds of patches, pins, and buttons to design their dream hat—all in a fun, hands-on retail experience. Overview We’re looking for a Store Manager who’s equal parts leader, organizer, and vibe curator to run daily operations and keep the shop running like a well-oiled heat press. If you love leading teams, leading events, keeping things organized, and creating an environment where creativity thrives—this is the role for you. As Store Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations as well as events of your Mess Hall location. You’ll lead and motivate your team, ensure the shop stays stocked and visually on point, and deliver an exceptional customer experience every day. The ideal candidate has management experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, a love for creative, and a willingness to work in a hands-on retail environment. Responsibilities Team Management & Leadership Recruit, train, and lead a positive-energy team. Manage weekly schedules, payroll hours, and staff paperwork. Communicate team goals, expectations, and manage profitability. Customer Experience Deliver an engaging customer experience from welcome to checkout. Resolve customer concern with professionalism and care. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shop. Store Operations Manage inventory, supply ordering, and delivery tracking. Maintain creative, brand-consistent merchandising and displays. Oversee POS accuracy, sales transactions, and daily reporting. Event Coordination & Procurement Secure event bookings through local outreach and partnerships. Coordinate client details, product selections, and procurement of approved event supplies. Manage event staffing, logistics, setup, execution, and breakdown. Qualifications 2+ years of management or leadership experience. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Creative eye for merchandising and visual presentation. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Experience with POS systems (Shopify preferred). Passion for interactive, design-focused retail environments.
