General Labourer with Order Picker Operator (High-Reach Forklift) – Raymond Experience Preferred

This is a Full Time Seasonal Position. Company: Tire Stor LTD Pay Rate: $21.00 Hour Job Title: General Labourer/Driver Location: Tire Stor Ltd. 3334 White Oak Road Position Summary: As a TireStor General Labourer/Driver, you will be working in the Automotive industry primary facilitating the delivery of seasonal tires to clients within the city and surrounding area. Job Duties: · Loading and unloading of tires into truck. · Unloading and delivering tires to assigned area as directed by the customer. · Operate Order Picker · Daily Circle Checks. · Maintaining Inventory · Operate in a safe, responsible, manner and in compliance with all laws and warehousing regulations. · The ability to work independently. · Checking in with coworkers at each throughout the day to ensure safety protocols are being followed · Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and co-workers. · Cleaning and sweeping of warehouse. · Performing other tasks and duties as assigned. · Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. · Physical ability to lift, unload, and carry tires repetitively. · Physical ability to lift weight up to 75 lbs. · Physical ability to maneuver loaded Order Pickers and pallet trucks over a variety of · Physical ability to stand and walk frequently and be able to drive for a significant period of time. · Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl. · Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances at accounts within assigned territory. Skills & Experiences: · High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating an elevated Order Picker (Cherry Picker) forklift is mandatory. Applicants must have hands-on experience safely operating this type of equipment. Experience with conventional forklifts alone does not meet this requirement. · G Class Ontario driver’s license · Previous automotive experience or knowledge of tires an asset. · Knowledge of CVOR checks an asset. · Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately. · Ability to operate software programs and equipment. · Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow all established procedures and regulations. · Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is preferred.
