General Labor Worker

Overview IT IS AN OPEN YARD OPPORTUNITY NO WAREHOUSE JOB Join our dynamic team as a General Labor Worker and become a vital part of our open yard operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of yard distribution, heavy equipment maintenance related to construction, and shipping & receiving. Your hands-on approach and mechanical knowledge will help ensure smooth, efficient processes from load and unload tasks to order picking and construction support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our logistics operations. Responsibilities Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving activities to maintain accurate inventory flow Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records promptly Support construction equipment maintenance tasks as needed, utilizing your construction experience for site preparation or material handling Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols and ergonomic best practices Manage the movement of goods within the yard using heavy equipment operation skills, including load securing and stacking Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and maintain a clean, organized work environment Skills Strong knowledge of yard distribution processes and yard experience. Experience with order picker systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting and experience with power tools is a plus for supporting site-related tasks.
