General Labor/ Warehouse

Job Title: General Laborer Company: Global Technology / Transpak Location: Sterling Heights, MI Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday through Friday) Compensation: $14.00 per hour (Starting wage)Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our operations team. In this role, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to support daily production, warehousing, and shipping goals. The ideal candidate is punctual, works well in a team environment, and safely handles physical labor requirements.Core Responsibilities: Load, unload, move, and stage materials and products throughout the facility. Pack, wrap, and secure items for safe transit and delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse or production area. Operate basic hand tools, equipment, or machinery safely as directed by supervisors. Assist team members with physical tasks to keep operations running smoothly on schedule. Follow all company safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Physical Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach continuously throughout an 8-hour shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in general labor, warehousing, or manufacturing is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and punctuality. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
