ConfidentialOverview Join our dynamic team as a Gate Clerk, where you will be the first point of contact at our facility’s entry and exit points. This vital role ensures smooth and secure operations by managing access for employees, vendors, visitors, and carriers. You will play a key part in maintaining efficient logistics flow, safeguarding inventory, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us uphold safety standards while facilitating seamless shipping, receiving, and distribution processes. Responsibilities Verify and authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and carriers entering or leaving the facility or yard. Manage inbound and outbound shipments by accurately processing documentation using inventory management software and ERP systems. Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, stock, and organize inventory efficiently. Conduct data entry for shipping logs, delivery records, and inventory updates to ensure accurate tracking across warehouse management systems. Support shipping logistics by coordinating order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities in compliance with trade regulations and customer requirements. Maintain security protocols through CCTV surveillance checks, fence inspections, and yard audits to prevent theft or unauthorized access. Provide excellent customer service by assisting drivers and visitors with inquiries while ensuring safety procedures are followed. Skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels and process shipments. Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and warehouse operations. Ability to operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other tools necessary for load & unload tasks. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Experience with logistics coordination within warehouse distribution environments or e-commerce fulfillment centers. Familiarity with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards related to shipping logistics. Excellent data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes.
