Gas Station Attendant/Cashier

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, product inquiries, and store questions with enthusiasm and professionalism Operate cash register systems (POS) to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate cash records Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or convenience items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Stock shelves, coolers, and displays regularly to ensure products are well-organized and fully stocked Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about new or featured items Maintain cleanliness of the station’s retail area, including the store interior, fuel pumps, and surrounding grounds Follow phone etiquette standards when managing inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising efforts Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and politely Experience Prior experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math will help you excel in this role Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers confidently Experience with merchandising, product demos, or upselling techniques will support your success in increasing sales Previous cashiering or cash handling experience ensures accuracy in retail transactions and cash drawer management Join us today to become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering top-tier service while building valuable skills in retail operations!
