Gas Station Attendant/Cashier

Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end Assist customers with fueling their vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety protocols Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and conducting product demos when appropriate Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized store displays to enhance shopping experience Upsell convenience items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive accessories to increase sales Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of low supplies or replenishment needs Follow phone etiquette standards when taking orders or answering customer inquiries over the phone Ensure compliance with safety procedures during all operations and maintain a welcoming environment for all visitors Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Supervising experience in retail or customer service settings is a plus Bilingual abilities are beneficial for serving diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and customer interaction Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations Knowledge of retail store product merchandising and inventory management techniques Experience in grocery stores or retail outlets that involve product demos, upselling, and stock management will be advantageous Join us to deliver top-notch service in a lively environment where your energy makes a difference!
