Company: Davis Moving & Cleaning (DMC) Location: Dallas, TX Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour + Milestone-Based Raises Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time Job Description Davis Moving & Cleaning is hiring dependable and hardworking individuals for an ongoing commercial furniture installation and moving contract in Dallas. One of the best perks? Approximately 90% of the work is performed INSIDE air-conditioned buildings! Unlike traditional moving jobs, this position primarily involves installing, relocating, and reconfiguring office furniture and Steelcase cubicles inside professional government and corporate facilities. We provide rolling carts, furniture dollies, and other moving equipment to make transporting furniture easier, safer, and more efficient. Responsibilities Install, disassemble, and reconfigure Steelcase cubicles and office furniture. Move and stage furniture using rolling carts, dollies, and moving equipment. Assemble desks, workstations, and modular furniture systems. Safely use hand tools and power tools. Follow floor plans, installation instructions, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and professional work environment. Qualifications Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to pass a background check. At least 2 years commercial moving or furniture installation experience required. Steelcase cubicle installation experience is a major plus. Ability to safely handle items weighing up to 75 lbs, using assistance or equipment when appropriate. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and teamwork.
