All positions are paid roles, offering a rewarding experience in a collaborative team setting. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport furniture items using box trucks, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards Operate material handling equipment such as dollies to move heavy or bulky furniture efficiently within warehouse and delivery sites Conduct thorough inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Follow established routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws Load and unload furniture items carefully to prevent damage, practicing safe lifting techniques and heavy lifting practices Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during delivery, addressing questions professionally, and ensuring satisfaction Start time is 6am-till done normally 8 to 10hrs depending on how fast you are Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation such as dollies or similar tools Valid Chauffeur License with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is highly valued Delivery driver experience preferred, especially box trucks Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures in a warehouse setting Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe driving practices on route driving assignments Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including load & unload activities in various environments Join us today to be part of a dedicated team that delivers more than just furniture — we deliver happiness!
