Full Time Truck Driver Needed

Full time solo truck driver needed in the Bryson City, NC area. Shifts are on a weekly schedule, Bryson City to Elon (2660 miles average). This is a nighttime driving position. Doubles endorsement required, no experience necessary. Starting pay is $0.63 cpm plus half of all drop & hook. Raise after 90 days, again at 1 year. Annual raises after the first year. Clean driving record and background are required. Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of vehicles, including commercial vehicles, and tractor-trailers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods and materials. The truck driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our logistics operations. Duties Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery confirmations. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-A) is required. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if necessary.
