FULL TIME light and medium duty Fleet Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Light and Medium Duty Fleet Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. We are a growing FedEx independent contractor with a fleet of 50+ vehicles. Responsibilities Hours will be 12pm-8pm Mon-Fri, and Saturday as needed. Perform walk through inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on light and medium duty fleet vehicles such as stepvans, cargo vans and box trucks all under 26000 lbs, mostly are diesels. Check and replace tires daily. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed and ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. provide your own hand tools for everyday jobs, we have our own shop with specialty tools for the bigger jobs. Proven experience working as a fleet mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Must be able to communicate with drivers and managers in order to get the trucks ready for the road the following day. Pay: $700.00 - $1,000.00 per week Work Location: In person
