Location: Highland Park Village Department: Retail, Operations & Inventory Employment Type: Full-time About The Conservatory Founded in 2019 by retail visionary Brian Bolke, The Conservatory is a concept store conceived as a destination for discovery, rooted in a belief we call “considered luxury”. Our first location opened in New York’s Hudson Yards and was soon joined by Dallas, in beautiful Highland Park Village, with our light-filled 8,000 sq ft flagship, which also houses the beloved lunch cafe, Teak Tearoom. In 2023, we welcomed FoundRae in Residence at The Conservatory, also in Highland Park Village, an ongoing collaboration with the highly-regarded NY jeweler. In 2025, we reopened Botanical by The Conservatory on Lomo Alto Drive in Highland Park, with a focus on plants, containers & gifts. Position Summary The Company Driver safely transports merchandise between our stores and our Distribution Center and makes deliveries to our clients using the company van or SUV. This role keeps product moving on schedule and arriving in excellent condition, and often serves as the face of The Conservatory at a client’s door. It suits someone reliable, careful, and personable who enjoys hands-on work. Key Responsibilities Product and Client Deliveries Drive the company van on scheduled and as-needed routes between our stores and Distribution Center. Load and unload merchandise, including tubs, boxes, and hanging garments, handling every item with care to prevent damage. Verify shipments against transfer paperwork before departure Secure all cargo properly for transport, keeping garments and fragile items protected. Make client deliveries to homes and businesses in the Dallas area, presenting each order with care and providing a courteous, polished experience that reflects The Conservatory. Confirm delivery times with clients and store staff, and obtain signatures or delivery confirmation as required. Complete deliveries on time and communicate any delays to clients, the store, and direct manager Vehicle Care Complete weekly vehicle inspections, and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns. Keep the van clean, organized, and fueled. Keep receipts for all fuel and other vehicle-related expenses, and submit them on time to Accounting Department Additional Responsibilities Partner with the Operations Coordinator to move product between the second-floor stockroom and the van or SUV. Assist with vendor returns, transfers, and special projects such as full physical inventories, store resets, and events. Run occasional errands as needed, such as supply pick-ups. Qualifications Valid Texas driver’s license At least 21 years of age. 1+ years of experience driving a cargo van or in a delivery role preferred. Familiarity with Dallas-area roads and neighborhoods is a plus. Professional, courteous presence when interacting with clients. Punctual, dependable, and organized, with a strong commitment to safe driving. Clear communicator who thrives in a small team and pitches in wherever needed.
