Full-Time Customer Service & Shipping Associate

Pak-n-Ship of SWFL is a locally owned and operated packing, shipping, and business services company serving Southwest Florida for more than 15 years. We do much more than ship packages. Our stores help customers with packing and shipping, mailbox services, returns, printing and copying, freight shipments, notary services, and more. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and personable Full-Time Customer Service & Shipping Associate to join our team. Shipping experience is NOT required — we will train you. What matters most to us is how you interact with people. We're looking for someone who: Genuinely enjoys talking to and helping customers Is friendly, outgoing, and approachable Communicates clearly and professionally Is dependable and shows up on time Is comfortable learning new computer programs Can multitask and stay organized when the store gets busy Takes initiative and is willing to learn Is patient and able to problem-solve with customers Works well as part of a team Previous retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required for the right person. What You'll Do Every day is a little different. You'll be trained to: Greet customers and determine how we can help Compare shipping options and help customers choose the best service for their needs Professionally pack items for shipment Process shipments through multiple carriers Assist with returns and package drop-offs Help customers with printing, copying, scanning, and faxing Answer phones and assist customers with questions Sort and manage customer mail and packages Track shipments and assist with shipping issues and claims Maintain customer accounts and records Assist with inventory and restocking Learn freight services and assist with larger shipments Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store Complete opening and closing responsibilities Qualified employees may also be trained and commissioned as a Notary Public. Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position , and applicants must have availability Monday through Saturday . Dependability and consistent attendance are extremely important for this position. Physical Requirements This is an active retail position. Employees must be able to stand for extended periods, regularly move around the store, and lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Most Important You don't need to know anything about shipping when you start — we can teach you that. We're looking for someone who is comfortable talking to people, enjoys helping customers, and can provide the kind of friendly, personal service that keeps our customers coming back.
