Fulfillment Operations Assistant

Position Summary Sew Project by Project is looking for a dependable Fulfillment Operations Assistant to help turn customer orders into accurately prepared, ready-to-ship packages. This role supports the steps between receiving an order and getting it out the door, including gathering materials, checking order details, packing items, and updating fulfillment records. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys organized, hands-on work and takes pride in getting the small details right. Training will be provided on the company's workflow and daily procedures. Responsibilities Review new orders and gather the required products, materials, or supplies for fulfillment. Match items to order details and check quantities before packing. Prepare products for shipment using suitable packaging materials to help protect them during transit. Label completed packages and arrange them in the designated area for pickup or dispatch. Update order status and enter shipping details into the company's records. Keep track of orders that are waiting for materials, packing, or shipment. Help organize supplies and maintain clear, accessible storage areas. Notify the appropriate team member about missing items, incorrect quantities, or order information that needs clarification. Assist with receiving and organizing incoming supplies used for order preparation. Keep the fulfillment workspace clean and ready for daily operations. Support coworkers with additional order-related tasks during busy periods. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong attention to detail and basic organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately. Basic computer skills for entering information and updating order records. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new procedures. Ability to work independently while cooperating with other team members. Comfortable performing routine hands-on tasks in an active work environment. No previous experience required; training provided.
