Job Overview Liquid Bottles, LLC, a Novvia Group company, is a wholesale packaging distributor in Palmetto, FL seeking a hard-working, dependable Warehouse/Shipping Associate to help keep up with the shipping needs for new business growth. Join our dynamic fulfillment center team as a Warehouse Associate, where your energy and precision will drive the seamless movement of goods and materials. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, contributing to our reputation for exceptional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations and heavy equipment handling within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively. Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders. Load and unload shipments using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Manage inventory through stock replenishment, stock counting, and updating inventory management systems to ensure accuracy. Prepare packages for shipping by packing items securely, labeling correctly, and ensuring quality control standards are met. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and performing manual handling tasks as needed. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75lbs. Facility is not climate controlled. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is required. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is advantageous. Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly desirable; certification is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations including PPE use and heavy lifting techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Previous experience in order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, or inventory management systems will support success in this role.
