FT Seasonal Packaging Specialist

French Broad Chocolates is hiring three full-time, seasonal Packaging Specialists to join our team from October through December and help make the holiday season a success! If you're detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of bringing our chocolate to customers during our busiest time of year, we'd love to hear from you. Job purpose Packaging Specialists are responsible for final quality control, packaging and appropriate labeling of all FBC pre-packaged products (hard goods). Responsibilities Pull and prep all packaging material to execute daily packaging schedule Inspect products and packaging for quality defects and ensure that goods conform to the company’s standards Ensures product is packaged appropriately with accurate amount/items in the correct container Ensures packaged product (hard goods) is labeled, coded, dated correctly Maintains a clean and organized environment Adheres to all food safety and occupational safety protocols and procedures Additional tasks as requested Qualifications 1+ years of experience in packaging/warehousing/fulfillment preferred Accuracy and strong attention to detail Ability to easily transition from one task to another Ability to stay on task and use time efficiently Open-minded; thrives in an environment of change Alignment with FBC mission, values, and public benefit Working conditions Primarily indoor work, but with varying climatic conditions GMP Facility requiring adherence to Food Safety protocols and procedures Physical requirements Standing for extended periods Solo lift 50 lb. regularly Team lift 70 lb. occasionally Repetitive tasks with infrequent rest periods French Broad Chocolate is an equal opportunity employer, and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in our employment practices.
