Freight Logistics Coordinator

Overview Coordinate freight and logistics activities that keep materials moving from suppliers through warehouse distribution to order fulfillment. You’ll connect purchasing, production planning, warehouse operations, and transportation partners to support reliable shipping and receiving. Your impact: Accurate coordination helps customers receive orders as planned and helps internal teams maintain dependable inventory flow. Duties Plan freight, transportation, and shipping logistics; coordinate carriers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCCs). Manage purchasing, procurement, sourcing, pricing, negotiation, supplier and vendor relationships, and category management. Track inventory, stocking, materials handling, warehouse management, and order fulfillment using enterprise resource planning (ERP), warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and AS400. Collect and analyze supply chain data; use Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau, and supply chain analytics to identify trends and support demand planning. Apply root cause analysis and process improvement; coordinate cross-functional communication, customer service, trade compliance, and international trade regulations. Experience Experience practicing in a supply chain operations role, with warehouse experience in warehouse management, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or inventory control. Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics management, transportation management systems, transportation planning, materials management, manufacturing resource planning (MRP), and production planning. Data collection, data analysis, and analysis skills, including Excel data analysis; Tableau and SQL experience are useful. Supplier management experience, vendor management, purchasing, procurement, sourcing, negotiation, pricing, and profit and loss (P&L) knowledge are relevant. Ability to perform manual handling; forklift experience is useful.
