Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Job Overview Join our team as we provide high quality animal feed to the world! Your role will be staging and truck loading loads with a forklift. Also clean up and other misc. warehouse work will be a part of this job as well! Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo lifts to load and unload shipments efficiently. Perform manual handling tasks such as hand stacking pallets on occasion. Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure all material handling equipment remains in optimal condition. Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, damages, or discrepancies through detailed logs. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve overall warehouse distribution efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual materials handling tasks effectively. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory data. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving processes. Experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required.
