Forklift Operator/Warehouse Lead

Location: Nashville, Tennessee Pay: $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift / Warehouse Manager to join our flooring distribution warehouse in Nashville, TN. Job Responsibilities * Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trucks. * Receive, organize, and store flooring materials in the warehouse. * Prepare customer and delivery orders accurately and efficiently. * Load flooring products onto trucks for delivery or pickup. * Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. * Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage. * Manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate records. * Coordinate daily warehouse activities and prioritize orders. * Work with drivers, sales staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations. * Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications * Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred. * Valid forklift certification is a plus. * Experience with flooring, building materials, or distribution warehouses is preferred. * Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials. * Good organizational and communication skills. * Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. * Basic English communication skills required. * Warehouse management or supervisory experience is a plus.
