FORKLIFT OPERATOR/WAREHOUSE

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, managing materials handling, and supporting shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, OSHA safety standards, and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient and safe operations. Duties Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and ensuring proper documentation Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling in compliance with safety protocols Assist with inventory management, stock organization, and maintaining a clean work environment Support warehouse supervision in daily operations and process improvements Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all activities Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor repairs as needed Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or heavy equipment operation Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with crane, clamp truck, and pallet jack preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking Experience in shipping & receiving processes and materials handling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Warehouse supervisor experience or construction background is a plus Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to safety, efficiency, and excellence in warehouse operations.
