Forklift Operator / Shipper-Receiver

Warehouse Product Reuse Solutions Inc. is a Canadian company specializing in pallet management, reuse, recycling, and warehouse logistics. We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator / Shipper-Receiver to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on warehouse position for someone who is organized, safety-conscious, productive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, understands shipping and receiving procedures, and takes pride in accuracy, communication, and keeping the warehouse organized. Position Information Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to: Load and unload trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, and walkie Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received Accurately label freight to its destination or assigned warehouse location Assist in segregating received cargo by account or intended location Count freight accurately and report any exceptions between the BOL and actual piece count Maintain strong communication with warehouse management, drivers, and team members Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, dock, trailer, lunchroom, and work areas Prepare outgoing orders for shipment Follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation standards Assist with general warehouse duties when forklift work is not required Schedule Day shift Full-time, permanent Year-round work Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Work location: In person Education / Training High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred Related warehouse, shipping/receiving, or forklift experience may be considered in place of formal education Required Experience Loading and unloading trailers Forklift operation: minimum 1 year preferred Shipping and receiving experience preferred Experience working with BOLs, inventory counts, or warehouse paperwork is an asset Other Requirements Must understand and speak basic English and French Valid forklift license required CSA-approved safety boots required Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to stand for extended periods while wearing safety boots Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted when required Comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment Strong attention to detail when counting, inspecting, and recording freight Selected applicants may be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the pre-screening process Benefits Company events On-site parking Stable, full-time work Positive team environment Opportunity for long-term employment ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Version française Warehouse Product Reuse Solutions Inc. est une entreprise canadienne spécialisée dans la gestion, la réutilisation, le recyclage et la logistique de palettes.
