Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting and precise order picking to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology to track inventory movements accurately. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments, inspecting goods for damage, and preparing items for dispatch. Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and forklift safety protocols during all equipment operation. Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal performance of all material handling machinery. Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing stock locations, conducting inventory counts, and managing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Follow proper manual handling procedures to ensure safety during lifting tasks and materials movement. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency. Experience Proven experience operating forklift trucks such as lift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo equipment in a warehouse environment. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management practices. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking processes, and materials handling techniques. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and general warehouse safety standards in production environments. Experience with heavy equipment repair or basic maintenance is a plus. Prior warehouse experience involving manual handling, heavy lifting, and use of material handling equipment is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing accurately.
